If you’re looking for something cool, exciting, and FREE to do with your little ones this summer, the Austin Symphony Children’s Day Art Park has you covered!
The ASO continues to present summer fun at the Austin Central Library (710 W Cesar Chavez St.). Exciting activities and musical guests are back in this comfortable setting; and that’s not all! We will have three encore performances at different locations: Gustavo “Gus” Garcia Recreation Center, Old Quarry Branch and Milwood Branch Libraries. Come join your Austin Symphony Orchestra and Master of Ceremonies, Bernadette Nason, this summer!

Children and adults can experience the magic of the performing arts at Austin Symphony Children’s Day Art Park. This exciting summer program features local musicians, storytellers, and crafts people. Youngsters can visit the Instrument Zoo from 10:00-10:30 a.m., where they can see, touch and play the instruments; talk to Symphony musicians and hear them play their instruments; sing and clap along with the star of the show; and try their hands at different art projects.
